The Stolen Generations (also known as Stolen Children) were the chil­dren of Aus­tralian Abo­rig­i­nal and Tor­res Strait Is­lander de­scent who were re­moved from their fam­i­lies by the Aus­tralian Fed­eral and State gov­ern­ment agen­cies and church mis­sions, under acts of their re­spec­tive par­lia­ments.
