Set Up Your Device The first time you turn your device on, the Welcome Screen displays. It will guide you through the basics of setting up your device. Follow the prompts to choose a default language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, set up accounts, choose location services, learn about your device’s features, and more. Turn on the tablet by pressing the Power Lock key. You may have to press the key longer than you think; when the tablet’s logo appears on the screen, the tablet has started. It’s okay to turn on the tablet while it’s plugged in and charging. Choose your language (if necessary), and then touch Next. Look down the right-hand edge of the tablet and find the small cover (it says 'microSD' on it). Using your thumbnail in the notch, pull the cover away from the tablet. The memory card goes into the slot with the metal contacts facing down, push it in until you feel it click into place, then close the cover. 3.
